Stupendous hub. In addition to being healthy and frugal, I love the idea that we're reducing the packaging we throw in the landfills when we make our own. Thank you.

Aloe Vera was actually said to have been used by Cleopatra in her daily beauty routine, a great plant that is excellent in its healing and moisturizing properties, I have plans for hub centered around this marvellous plant and would recommend it for the use of many skin care problems...

The juice of the plant generally has nothing added to it, making it a great option if its available...

thanks for the visit it was nice to see you here

What a great idea, never thought to try making my own.

I have had oily skin issues for years and resorted to glycolic cleansers hoping for better results. I think its a bit too powerful and makes my skin worse at times.

Will be trying a few of your ideas over the next week and will hope for better results.

Thank you so much!

Before I struggled with extremely oily skin and occasional break outs. Now my skin is much less oily and very few break outs.

I use the Rooibos Tea Face Scrub (from the organic Made from Earth skincare line). I love the smell and it has these little scrubbing beads in it that really clean your skin thoroughly. The scrubby beads feel great on your skin and when you rinse your face you have such a fresh feeling.

I am a huge fan of the organic options that are becoming more and more available in our health stores. I am so glad that you have found something that has worked well for your skin. :)

Alma

I personally found witch hazel at amazon.com but it of course comes with some additives

The following site does have an organic product that you can buy that comes with no additives what so ever and is perfect for so many uses
